Eleanore to open in Edinburgh this year

Following the successful launch of The Little Chartroom 2.0 in October, Roberta Hall McCarron and Shaun McCarron will open a second restaurant, Eleanore, in Edinburgh this year.

Named after a boat owned by the family, the restaurant and wine bar will launch where the original Little Chartroom lived in Leith. Providing relaxed counter culture with high-top dining, the restaurant will serve small plates from its open kitchen, showcasing the best of Scottish produce.

Chefs Hamish McNeil and Moray Lamb (formerly of Little Chartroom on The Prom) will run the pass, whist also incorporating their own culinary influences. Dishes include BBQ pork neck, chicory and quince; flatbread with sunflower seed dip and oysters with fermented cucumber, sweet pickled apple and horseradish oil.
