NoMad London appoints new bar director

NoMad London, located in Covent Garden's former Bow Street Magistrates Court, has announced the appointment of Liana Oster as the new bar director. 

Drawing on her experience at Side Hustle and NoMad Bar, the mixologist brings a fresh take to the hotel's guest experience. Having worked in a number of bars across the globe, Oster's dedication to the hospitality industry allows her to bring diverse expertise to the NoMad team. 

Australian-born Oster has also spent time working in New York City, working her way up to the bar manager position at Dante and Dante West Village. She was leading the team when the venue was awarded Best Restaurant Bar in America 2017 and 2019 at Tales of the Cocktail, also being awarded World's Best Bar in 2019 by the World's 50 Best. 

Oster moved to London in 2021 to be part of the highly-anticipated NoMad Hotel opening. Together with vice president of food and beverage, Leo Robitschek, she has created a fresh new bar menu that blends classic and modern techniques with whimsicality and a broad range of ingredients.
