Pizza Punks appoints new MD amid expansion

Hell Yeah Hospitality Group, which operates brand concepts Pizza Punks, Veganizza and Mamasan, has appointed a new managing director to strengthen its continued growth of the UK-wide business.

Graeme Gardiner will now be leading the expansion of Pizza Punks and overseeing the operations across the business, including Mamasan Restaurant & Bar in Liverpool and Glasgow.

Starting at the business this July, Gardiner joins from Alshaya Group, which operates 80 brands across the Middle East and North Africa. Most recently he was responsible for leading the MENA Operations of over 1,000 Starbucks stores across 10 markets.

“I’m really excited to be joining the Hell Yeah Hospitality team to use my experience to help grow the amazing portfolio and work with the team to continue to challenge the way our hospitality service is delivered," he says. "I have been very impressed by the energy and passion that has shaped the Hell Yeah journey so far and I can’t wait to get started.”

This announcement comes as Hell Yeah Hospitality announces two more openings for Pizza Punks restaurants in Liverpool and Nottingham for 2022, confirming these will be the largest Pizza Punks sites to date.

It has existing sites in Glasgow, Belfast, Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester and Durham.

Hell Yeah Hospitality Group was founded by CEO Brad Stevens.
