Hartnett Holder to host pop-up chef series

Hartnett Holder & Co (HH&Co), Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder’s renowned restaurant at Lime Wood, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the duo will host a guest chef series with some of HH&Co’s oldest industry friends.
The first dinner of the series will take place on 16 May with acclaimed chefs Nathan Outlaw, Valentine Warner and Neil Borthwick. The following dinner will take place on 13 September with headline chefs of a similar calibre yet to be announced, alongside Hartnett and Holder themselves. The experience is priced at £830 for dinner, bed and breakfast for two.
A decade ago, the chefs shared a vision they hoped would change the face of country house hotel dining. Understanding that times were changing and hotel restaurants needed to be more accessible, they removed white tablecloths and tasting menus and replaced them with a stripped-back space, hoping people would feel equally comfortable stopping by for a quick bowl of pasta or for a long lunch with friends.
Hartnett and Holden have a huge sense of pride for the kitchen team, most of whom have been with them for the entire 10 years. This is a testament to the chefs' approach to the kitchen, where they changed the traditional culture and implemented schedules and protocols that prioritise the wellbeing of staff. Keen to ensure the ‘Co.’ in HH&Co. are recognised for their role in the success of the restaurant, they have invited a selection of chefs from the team to do a kitchen takeover during summer. Each chef will create a menu which will be available to guests for a week at a time and showcase some of their favourite and most popular dishes from the last decade.
HH&Co. will also be launching a partnership with DishPatch to create a limited edition HH&Co menu box which will be available on an exclusive basis nationwide this summer.
