Rudy's announces 27th pizzeria

A Neapolitan pizza brand has announced that a new site is set to launch in Altrincham in July, standing as the group's 27th venue overall.

Rudy's Pizza Napoletana will bring its relaxed dining concept to the former OneCentral food court on Central Way, in the heart of the Manchester suburb.

The opening will spark a revamp of Charis House, introducing a mezzanine level, extension to the side/rear and repositioning of the external stairwell, providing a spacious venue with over 100 covers and additional outdoor seating.

Bringing Rudy's to the masses

Since launching in 2015 in Ancoats, Rudy's gained a following for its Neapolitan pizzas and quality ingredients. The opening marks the brand's seventh pizzeria in the Greater Manchester area.

The brand follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, serving classics such as the Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples.

The dough is made fresh daily using Caputo '00' flour which ferments for at least 24 hours, alongside top-quality ingredients from Naples. The dough is cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for around 60 seconds, resulting in a soft, light pizza with an airy and raised cornicione.

The pizza offer is accompanied by a well-stocked bar, including Italian spritzes, crisp Italian and local lager and classic cocktails.

Commenting on the upcoming launch, Neal Bates, managing director, says: "We're really excited about bringing Rudy'sn authentic Neapolitan pizza to Altrincham, joining the community and getting to know our neighbours in this bustling suburb. We can't wait to launch our newest site in Greater Manchester and welcome both residents and visitors to enjoy a slice of Naples right here in Altrincham."
