Emberwood to land in Bath this year

Emberwood, a British brasserie that pays homage to architect and previous resident John Wood Senior, is set to open in the heart of Bath later this year.
The restaurant will celebrate locally sourced produce, prepared with theatre in an open kitchen and charcoal-fired hearth.
Bath's new dining destination
Located on Barton Street, the new dining concept will be led by general manager Shaun Bowles and created in partnership with restaurateur and managing director of Five Graces Hospitality, Alex Ghalleb. With 16 years of experience launching restaurants, Ghalleb's most recent projects have included the launch of celebrity hotspots Julie’s in London’s Holland Park and Dorian in Notting Hill.
Executive chef David’s Hazell will create a menu inspired by the history of the city, highlighting Somerset’s rich agricultural landscape, reflecting a commitment to local producers, seasonal cooking and the joy of gathering around the fire to share food.
Alongside the new restaurant, a fully refurbished bar will offer an extensive selection of wine and signature cocktails.
Bowles says of the upcoming launch: "We are incredibly excited to unveil Emberwood and the outstanding team that will be part of this new dining experience.
"Our building is one of the original Georgian buildings in Bath, we are at the heart of Bath’s history and want to invite all the local community to experience our fantastic new menus and hospitality.”
