Gaucho Go coming to Boxhall City

Boxhall City has announced its full line-up of kitchens and concepts ahead of its 10 April opening, a new concept from the team behind Gaucho among them.

Joining the Rare Restaurants portfolio is a new concept from Gaucho, a more casual iteration of the Argentinian steakhouse brand. The menu will feature steak and chips, burgers and new dishes such as a spin on the classic hot dog.

Boxhall City marks Boxpark's first opening under the new brand umbrella. It will offer an all-day dining experience, bringing together independent brands and global cuisines alongside a wine and cocktail offering, housed within the restored Metropolitan Arcade on Liverpool Street.

The line-up also includes:

  • Sourdough Sophia – an independent bakery offering sustainable goods, including freshly baked breads, pastries and speciality coffees
  • Club Mexicana – plant-based Mexican street food
  • Baked Bird – the first location for the award-winning baked chicken concept
  • Farzi – a fine dining restaurant combining traditional Indian cuisine with British ingredients, already established in the St James's area
  • Burger & Beyond – dry-aged burgers and signature sides
  • Nativo – a Japanese-Latin fusion restaurant, with existing sites in Elephant & Castle and Peckham
  • Eggslut – a gourmet concept known for its egg-based all-day brunch dishes
  • Inamo Sukoshi – sushi and fusion street food with influences from across Asia, serving signature dragon rolls, Korean BBQ ribs, chicken katsu curry and more
  • Little Bao Boy – the brand's first outpost outside of the North, serving homemade bao and Asian dishes with a Western twist
  • Old Chang Kee – Singaporean street food
  • Soft Serve Society – a dessert parlour famed for its charcoal and coconut soft-serve ice creams and sundaes
  • Boki Coffee – an independent all-day coffee shop with sites in Aldgate and Wembley

Boxhall City will also feature a dedicated kitchen space (Kitchen No.8), designed to be a platform for culinary talent to test new ideas. It will see a rotating line-up of chefs throughout the year. The venue will also feature a signature rooftop bar, set to open later in 2025.

Matt Snell, Boxpark CEO, comments: "With only a month to go until we open Boxhall City, we are all hugely excited for the next step in Boxpark's journey. We're delighted to welcome 13 exceptional dining experiences to take space at this beautifully stored arcade, as well as providing a platform for the latest culinary talent to test new ideas. This mix of food and drink brands, the chef-led kitchen and heritage venue has resulted in the creation of an exciting new destination, unlike anything we've done before."
