Lucky Cat at 22 Bishopsgate to host Solar Eclipse Brunch

On Saturday, 29 March, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants’ latest destination, Lucky Cat at 22 Bishopsgate, will open its doors early for guests to enjoy an exclusive brunch menu, all while enjoying unparalleled views of the London skyline and the first partial solar eclipse over the capital since 2021.

Guests will be able to enjoy an Asian-inspired brunch from the tallest building in the City of London. Usually open at 11.30am on Saturdays, Lucky Cat 22 Bishopsgate will take bookings from 10am for one day only so that diners can enjoy the solar event.

A partial solar eclipse occurs when the moon and sun overlap. It is set to begin at 10:07am, peak at 11:03am and end at 12:00pm. In London, it will look like a portion of the sun is being covered by the moon, which is expected to be around 30%. Guests will be given special glasses so they can safely view the eclipse as they eat.

For those who can’t decide on which dish to choose, Lucky Cat executive head chef Michael Howells' dishes are designed to be shared, with menu highlights including a tofu and spicy avocado bao, theChef’s Sushi Platter and the Iberico pork chop.

Diners can add bottomless Prosecco to their brunch for just £40pp or Champagne £80pp, whilst cocktail lovers can enjoy bottomless signature cocktails for £60pp.
