Vivek Singh signs first Cinnamon Kitchen in the North

Chef Vivek Singh is partnering with The Queens Hotel Leeds to launch the North’s first Cinnamon Kitchen.

The Queens Hotel is continuing its evolution, replacing the traditional in-house dining model with a destination in its own right. Cinnamon Kitchen brings modern Indian cuisine, bold design and serious culinary kudos to the heart of the city.

On-trend

Part of a wider shift across the UK, hotels are moving away from standard in-house dining and tapping into the multi-billion-pound restaurant market, creating bold, standalone concepts that resonate with locals and travellers alike. In London, the strategy is already well-established through high-profile partnerships such as famed LA chef Kris Yenbamroong bringing his Thai-Americana concept, Chet’s, to The Hoxton, Shepherds Bush, on opening.

By embracing this approach, The Queens is helping to redefine hotel dining in Leeds, bridging the gap between hotel dining and the city's independent food scene.
