Handling's final 'Friends of Frog' collab announced

Following the first three sold-out dinners with Angelo Sato (Humble Chicken), Mickael Viljanen (Chapter One) and Aktar Islam (Opheem, Birmingham), chef-restaurateur Adam Handling has announced Stephen McLaughlin as the final guest chef to participate in the event series.

Taking place at Handling's Michelin-starred flagship restaurant in Covent Garden, Frog by Adam Handling, the collaboration brings together old friends and bold flavours from some of the UK's most exciting culinary professionals.

On 21 July, McLaughlin, head chef at the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Andrew Fairlie in Scotland, will bring his produce-led cooking to the London venue in a celebration of legacy, precision and modern Scottish excellence.

The menu

The collaborative tasting menu will offer seven courses, along with a selection of snacks, Handling's signature bread and chicken butter, and a final flourish from Handling's newly opened Chocolate Shop.

Menu highlights include Handling's sea bream with fermented tomato and spruce, McLaughlin's liquid-centred foie gras cromesquis with carrot and ginger condiment, Handling's Cumbrian lamb with tandoori cauliflower and asparagus, and McLaughlin's home-smoked Scottish lobster with lime and herb butter.

The chefs will cook side by side, offering one-night-only dishes that reflect their individual style ethos and a mutual respect. Tickets cost £350pp, excluding beverages and service charge, and can be purchased here.
