Market Halls announces new CEO
Former Laine Pub Company boss Dan Hills has joined Market Halls as its new managing director and CEO. Hills appointment comes with a clear mission: double the size of the business by 2028 and push annual sales past the £100m mark. He will collaborate closely with founder Andy Lewis-Pratt, who will transition into a board-level role focused on scaling the brand.
'Pre-tax profits rising to £1.17m'
The food hall operator, currently running four high-profile sites in London and one in Brighton, plans to grow from five to ten venues across the UK. Its most recent acquisition, Brighton’s Shelter Hall, highlights Market Halls’ strategy of blending flagship locations with smart regional expansion. With pre-tax profits rising to £1.17m and adjusted venue EBITDA jumping to £3.8m for the year ending June 2024, Market Halls is primed for its next chapter.
