Pasta Evangelists enters the breakfast market
Pasta Evangelists Farringdon is preparing to launch a brand-new breakfast menu, combining some of the brand's best-selling sauces with poached eggs.
To mark the new offering, the restaurant is giving away free hot drinks including Americanos, espressos and teas – no purchase necessary – from 7am to 8am from 26 to 29 August.
'The most important meal of the day'
The new ‘Evangelists Eggs & Morning Treats’ menu features a line-up of Italian-inspired breakfast dishes. Highlights include Infernal Eggs – 'Nduja and red pepper sauce with poached eggs and foccacia (£8.50); Paradise Eggs – poached eggs, stracciatella, basil pesto and wild rocket (£8.50); Truffled Eggs – combines the brand's signature cacio e pepe sauce with poached eggs (£8.50); and Eggs in Purgatory – a combo of poached eggs in a bed of cherry tomato sauce, topped with mozzarella and fresh herbs (£8.50); plus a selection of sweet pastries, starting from £3.
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so we're on a mission to reimagine it, Italian-style," says Finn Lagun, co-founder and CMO of Pasta Evangelists. "We know how fast-paced mornings can be, especially in London, so we wanted to create something quick yet indulgent, with the same quality and creativity we bring to our delicious fresh pasta. Those who prefer a sweet treat can opt for the quintessential cappuccino (we’ll allow this after 11am!) and a delicious cornetto (croissant) – dipping is optional.”.
