Chit 'n' Chaat announces first North East location

Indian street food brand Chit 'n' Chaat is set to open its seventh site – and its first in the North East – in Newcastle shopping centre Eldon Square this winter. 

Marking the brand's entry into the region, visitors to Eldon Square can expect a 3,000sq ft restaurant complete with signature design features such as lightboxes, neon bikes, wall art and biophilic displays.

The new Chit 'n' Chaat restaurant in Newcastle marks the second deal between the brand and asset managers Pradera Lateral, following the successful opening at Trafford Centre's Eastern Garden in 2024.
