Prezzo Italian operator launches Brava Hospitality Group

The team behind Prezzo Italian has unveiled a new hospitality company, signalling the group's evolution into a multi-brand business.

Having previously operated under the Prezzo name, the operator has now rebranded as Brava Hospitality Group, reflecting its transition from a single brand to a broader platform designed to manage and grow multiple concepts across the UK.

"As we look to the future, we knew it was time for a new group identity – one that reflects our ambition and gives us the foundation to grow," says James Brown, CEO of Brava Hospitality Group. "Brava is about 'hospitality with heart' – and building a portfolio of distinctive brands that people love. That started with Prezzo Italian."

Prezzo's evolution

Prezzo Italian, the group's flagship concept, underwent its own transformation in April, evolving from Prezzo as part of a wider brand refresh. .

The transformation was led by James Brown, the former CEO of BrewDog Global Hospitality Business, who joined the group in November. Following his transition, the brand has achieved a strong business performance, with like-for-like sales growing 11% in Q3 and the six refurbished restaurants delivering an average of 50% growth compared to 2024.

Having been present on the high street for 25 years, Prezzo Italian will remain a key focus for the group. Alongside asset firm Cain International, Brown and the wider Brava team will continue with plans to refurbish 12 Prezzo Italian locations by the end of the year, with a further 40 planned for 2026.

Brown adds: "Now we have announced this new step, we are looking forward to being able to share further details in the coming months and announce other restaurant brands joining the Brava Hospitality Group portfolio alongside Prezzo Italian. With every brand that joins us, two things remain the same: our commitment to sustainable growth, and to preserving the heart of hospitality across every concept we bring to life."
