Phil Howard enters the QSR market

Acclaimed chef Phil Howard and his business partner, Julian Dyer, will bring the NOTTO concept to Broadgate in November, marking the group's first foray into fast-casual dining.

NOTTO Broadgate will be a premium, quick service restaurant designed for City workers and Londoners on the move. Guests will be able to choose from six fresh pasta dishes, including rigatoni cacio e pepe (£12.50), spaghetti with a Bolognese sauce of British beef, field mushrooms and red wine (£12.50), and ravioli of Delica pumpkin with brown butter, capers, and sage (£13.75).

Four salad options will also be available, including The Amalfi (£12.95), a Nicoise-style salad with line-caught tuna and crunchy chickpeas; and The Roman (£12.95), a Caesar-style salad with chicken, butter beans, anchovies and Parmesan.

The burrata bar is set to be a standout feature, offering creamy, artisan burrata sourced from Buchanans Cheesemonger, paired with seasonal accompaniments such as smashed green olives, sundried tomato dressing, anchovy and orange, and classic pesto.

Need for speed

Designed with speed and quality in mind, NOTTO Broadgate replaces impersonal ordering screens with a 'tray-slide' journey. Guests will begin by choosing their pasta dish, which is cooked to order straight away. The fresh pasta can be prepared in a matter of minutes, so once diners move along the line to pick up a salad or snack, their dish will be ready and waiting.

"A fantastic bowl of pasta has always been at the heart of NOTTO, and NOTTO Broadgate allows us to bring that same ingredient-led passion into a fast-paced environment," says Howard. "Add a burrata bar and a handful of wholesome salads and we believe we have an offering which is super fresh, super quick but still cooked with real care and attention."
