Masakali expands to London

An Indian restaurant brand founded in Reading has opened its first London outpost at 48 Stanhope Street. 

Following the success of its flagship site at 93–97 Caversham Road, Reading, Masakali has earned a following for its take on Indian cuisine, combining traditional recipes with modern flair. 

The menu

Each dish at Masakali highlights authentic regional flavours. Guests can explore a range of sections, including Nibbles, Soup Shots, Small Plates, Starters, Tandoor, Curry and Biryani. 

Signature dishes such as Scottish sea trout with verbena and dill takka, Old Delhi butter chicken curry and Royal Tiger Biryani are offered. 

Bollywood-inspired cocktails present a playful twist on the classics, featuring spice-infused syrups, tropical fruit blends and vibrant garnishes. The drinks menu also includes a selection of wine and craft beer.
