Via Emilia opens third London restaurant
Via Emilia, the Italian restaurant brand by Christian Pero's Food Roots group, has opened a third site in London.
The latest restaurant is on All Saints Road in Notting Hill, joining its sister sites in Fitzrovia and Shoreditch.
Inspired by Emilia Romagna, the area of Italy linked to the origin of fresh egg pasta, the menu at Via Emilia is centered on nine pasta dishes, each reflecting a different area of Emilia Romagna.
The business says that every dish is made to an established family recipe to deliver an exact taste of this famed Northern Italian food region.
Unique to Via Emilia is the Gnocco Fritto, a traditional, gently fried bread served with Emilian meats such as Prosciutto, Mortadella and Pancetta, as well as cheeses like Parmigiano from Parma and Caciotta from Ravenna.
Able to seat up to 46 people, the restaurant has been designed in partnership with Lee Pollock from lifeforms design.
