Various Eateries achieves record EBITDA
Various Eateries, the operator of restaurant brands Coppa Club and Noci, has delivered record EBITDA, as shown in its most recent financial results.
For the year ending 28 September 2025, the business, founded by Hugh Osmond and led by chief executive Mark Loughborough, saw group revenue increase by 6% year-on-year to £52.4m (2024: £49.5m), which it says exceeded market expectations.
Group adjusted EBITDA increased to a record £1.4m (2024: £0.3m), which has been achieved despite ongoing sector-wide cost pressures.
"The improvement was driven by a combination of factors," says Loughborough. "We strengthened our product and offer, improved the consistency of delivery across the estate and ensured that we had the right people in the right roles, supported by clearer systems and processes.
"Importantly, we also addressed the tail of performance, focusing on ensuring that every venue contributed positively to the overall result rather than relying on a small number of high-performing sites."

Coppa Club led group like-for-like growth, up 3%, with particularly strong momentum at breakfast and lunch.
Various Eateries says that it sees the clearest near-term growth opportunity in further expanding Coppa Club.
It says Noci remains a newer, smaller part of the group and continues to make steady progress, with further development of the offer planned in FY26.
The festive period for Various Eateries saw group like-for-like sales increase by 9%, led by Coppa Club (+12%).
"We are confident because the group’s offer is well aligned with how consumers want to use hospitality today," adds Loughborough. "Our venues are designed to perform across multiple dayparts and occasions, allowing each site to respond to demand rather than being constrained by a single-use format.
"This breadth of offer, combined with improving operational discipline and consistency, has created a more resilient business model. With this platform in place, we believe the group is well positioned to continue building momentum and deliver sustainable growth over the long term."
