Brasserie Angelica and Gambit Bar have opened their doors
Brasserie Angelica and Gambit Bar have opened on Newman Street in London's Fitzrovia.
Residing within The Newman hotel, Brasserie Angelica is an all-day dining destination, with Gambit Bar trading directly beneath it.
The Newman is the much anticipated hotel being led by hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co., which also works with the like of Jeremy King Restaurants.
Brasserie Angelica is a contemporary all-day brasserie, with the kitchen being led by executive chef Christian Turner.
Dishes include Gravlax with fermented cucumber salad; Västerbotten cheese tart with smoked onion purée and broad beans; and West Coast Salad with shrimp, mussels, crab and mushrooms.
Mains feature a Sutton Hoo chicken pie with cep cream sauce; Confit duck leg with haricot beans and parsley salad; and Double-tranche of halibut.
Desserts will range from Crème caramel with toasted brioche to a Blueberry tart with lemon curd, alongside a selection of smaller ‘sweet bites’.
Gambit Bar is being led by The Newman’s head of food and drink, Eder Neto.
