Rudy's Pizza to open in Chester this summer

Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has confirmed it will be opening in Chester for the first time this summer.

The new pizzeria, located at 38 Bridge Street, will occupy the former Carluccio’s building on Chester’s medieval shopping street, which closed earlier this year. The venue will span two floors, offering over 170 covers across the restored Tudor-style building.

To celebrate what will be its 39th opening, Rudy’s is giving away 3,000 pizzas for guests to claim online.

"Since opening our first pizzeria in Ancoats back in 2015, the North West has believed in us every step of the way," says Neal Bates, managing director of Rudy’s. "Chester feels like a natural next chapter, a city with great character and an amazing food scene that we can’t wait to be part of. We’re firing up the oven and can’t wait to say ciao and share some pizzas with the community to celebrate."

Rudy’s is the largest organisation in the world to be accredited by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), the international body that protects and promotes traditional Neapolitan pizza making.
