Second Tattu will open in Canary Wharf

Tattu, the modern Chinese restaurant brand from Permanently Unique Group, is launching a second London location this winter at Canary Wharf.

Following global growth through an opening in Dubai at Ciel Tower last year, the new opening adds to Tattu's five locations in UK cities.

Leading the culinary vision is global executive chef Eugene Papadimitriou and chef de cuisine David Pang, who bring together Japanese and Chinese fusion.

The design for this new Canary Wharf destination draws inspiration from the historic floating restaurants of China, featuring an exterior of glowing lanterns and neon signage that reflects across the water.

The interior will be organised into four distinct realms based on ancient maritime mythology. The double-height Grand Hall, representing the White Dragon, will serve as the primary dining space with light timber, purple lacquer and a glowing onyx sushi counter. This will flow into the Red Dragon cocktail bar, defined by dragon-scale arches and ribbed red wall-coverings.

Above, the Black Dragon mezzanine will offer an intimate environment of ebony and gold, while the Azure Dragon private dining room will feature a ceiling designed to evoke scales and open water.

Tattu was founded in Manchester in 2015 by brothers Adam and  Drew Jones, part of the acclaimed Permanently Unique Group, the hospitality team behind restaurants FENIX and Louis.
