AO by Daniel Rogan reopens its doors

AO by Daniel Rogan, the restaurant in Southampton led by the son of Simon Rogan, has entered a new chapter following an extensive refurbishment and relaunch.

Located just off Southampton’s Oxford Street, AO now features a brand-new open kitchen, updated interiors and a refreshed menu offering designed to give guests greater flexibility across different occasions and price points.

A new three-course lunch menu is priced at £39 and is available on Thursday and Friday. Alongside this, guests can choose from a five-course menu (£65), seven-course menu (£85) or the full ten-course experience (£125), available across selected lunch and dinner services. 

The relaunch follows the sold-out Rogan x Rogan event, a five-day collaboration between Daniel and his father Simon, founder of Umbel Hospitality and chef owner of three Michelin-starred L’Enclume. The event celebrated AO joining Umbel Hospitality earlier this year.

Named after the initials of Daniel’s children, AO's new upstairs dining room seats 32 guests.

The site first opened in 2022, but in November 2025 it moved to its new home on Oxford Street.
