TRGC launches Giraffe at Edinburgh Airport
TRGC, the UK travel food and drink division of The Restaurant Group, has opened a new Giraffe restaurant at Edinburgh Airport.
Located airside within the airport terminal, the new 179-cover restaurant will offer its usual all-day menu, serving up international cuisine from Asian street food to American burgers.
The launch marks the latest milestone in TRGC’s ongoing partnership with Giraffe and its owner Boparan Restaurant Group, representing their sixth concept together as the partnership continues to focus on scaling the brand across high-footfall travel environments.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with Giraffe on our sixth site together and to be bringing the first experience of this beloved casual dining brand to Edinburgh Airport," says Jonathan Knight, CEO of TRGC. "We know that passengers are increasingly seeking more than just convenience before they fly and this opening reflects our shared ambition to deliver standout, high-quality dining concepts that enhance the airport experience."
TRGC develops custom concepts and collaborates with established brands to optimise airport spaces.
"We’re thrilled to be opening Giraffe at Edinburgh Airport, bringing our vibrant, globally inspired menu to one of the UK’s busiest travel hubs," adds Richard Pigott, managing director at Giraffe. "Airports are all about discovery and adventure, which makes Edinburgh the perfect location for Giraffe as a brand built around flavours from around the world. We’re excited to welcome both international travellers and local passengers, offering a relaxed dining experience before take-off, whilst maintaining a strong partnership with the TRGC team.”
