Entries open for 2026 National Pizza Awards
Chefs from restaurants, pubs, QSR and street food businesses can now enter the 2026 National Pizza Awards.
The annual competition, which ultimately crowns 'the UK's best pizza', is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, making the occasion a huge opportunity for those pizzaiolos taking part.
Entries are free for all businesses. To enter, operators need to submit the recipe for their chosen pizza here.
How it works
Operators and chefs need to choose which pizza they think will go the distance and enter it online at nationalpizzaawards.co.uk. Following the entry process, judges will select 16 pizzas for the final.
On top of the signature round, finalists will take part in a technical challenge that will see them construct the best dish from a selection of sponsor ingredients, with the winner claiming the National Pizza Chef of the Year crown. A dedicated plant-based challenge will also see finalists face-off with a range of free-from products in a bid to bag the Alternative Slice Award.
In 2025, Short Road Pizza, which operates out of Exale Brewing pubs Three Colts Tavern in Bethnal Green and William The Fourth in Leyton, delivered the National Pizza of the Year to a panel of industry judges at the live final.
Entries for 2026 close on Friday 28 August, with the live final taking place on Tuesday 3 November.
