Hotel Gotham becomes The Rex

Leonardo Limited Edition UK Hotels has relaunched its Manchester Hotel Gotham site as The Rex.

At the heart of The Rex sits Reign, the hotel's f 2 AA Rosettes restaurant, where guests experience a style of dining that is both "elevated and daring".

Alongside it is Reserve, an exclusive private members' club with outdoor terraces overlooking Manchester's skyline.

The business says that the person driving the change has been executive head chef Bartosz Szynaka, whose culinary direction is reshaping the hotel's food and beverage experience from the ground up.

"Bartosz's cooking is expressive, narrative-led and unapologetically bold," the business says. "Rooted in modern French technique but unrestricted by convention, every dish is carefully composed to tell a story; immersive, deeply personal and leaves a lasting memory when guests leave the restaurant."

Szynaka says that, for him, "food is more than flavour. It is theatre and emotion where  menus are built without limits".

Apparently the dishes at The Rex are designed not only to satisfy guests, but to surprise and move them.
