Hospitality Rides raises over £400,000

Industry charity initiative Hospitality Rides has raised a total of £403,000 through its 2026 campaign. 

Hospitality Rides brings together sector leaders from across the hospitality industry to tackle cycling challenges around the globe. 

This year saw a 400km sponsored cycle across Vietnam, with 29 industry professionals getting involved and supporting hospitality charities, LTC and Only A Pavement Away.

The £403,000 total will enable LTC and Only A Pavement Away to continue their vital work supporting people across the hospitality sector. LTC provides a wide range of practical advice, financial assistance, and health and wellbeing support to people in licensed hospitality, while Only A Pavement Away helps people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans into long term, stable employment in the industry. 

H2O Publishing, the parent company of Dine Out, officially supported Hospitality Rides as its charity partner for 2026, with editorial director Tristan O'Hana taking part in the Vietnam challenge. 

Hills and heat

Over five days, the 2026 riders cycled from Truong Son to Hoi An, where they hit a maximum elevation of 1,675m – the equivalent to climbing a skyscraper 100 times – in an average of 38 degree heat.

"Hospitality Rides 2026 was our toughest year yet," says Katy Moses, ride founder and KAM managing director. "The climbs, the heat and the sheer distance pushed every rider to their limits, but the strength and determination shown throughout the week were extraordinary.

"I couldn’t be prouder of everyone who took part or more grateful to the sponsors and supporters who made it possible. The incredible total of £403,000 raised will have a major impact through the vital work of LTC and Only A Pavement Away, supporting people across our industry when they need it most."

The organisers have announced that next year fundraisers will take on a ride across Chile. H2O Publishing will once again be supporting Hospitality Rides in 2027. Should you wish to donate, you can do so here.
