Bill's MD to speak at next Arena event

Tom James, managing director of Bill’s Restaurants, has joined the speaker line-up at Arena’s Summer Event, Shaping the Future of Foodservice and Hospitality.

The event takes place on Monday 13 July 2026 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.

James will join a panel of industry leaders including Samantha Davis, COO of Foodbuy Group, and Robbie Laidlaw, MD of Thomas Franks.

James has held several senior director positions within a wide variety of businesses including Jamie’s Italian, Coppa Club and Harbour Hotels. He joined Bill’s in October 2021 as group operations director and has been MD of the all day casual dining concept for the past three years. 

Over that time, the team at Bill’s have delivered record sales and returned to the expansion trail with further openings planned.

The Arena event also includes an insight session called A Fork in the Road: The Challenges Facing Hospitality and Foodservice, as Reuben Pullan from NIQ reveals how operators navigating cost, time and regulatory pressures are reshaping their priorities, and where industry support can make the biggest impact.
