TRGC creates Scottish-American diner concept

TRGC, The Restaurant Group's travel hub business, has opened Forth & Main, a Scottish-American diner concept created exclusively for Edinburgh Airport.

The restaurant opened to passengers at the end of June, bringing a new dining concept to passengers at Scotland’s busiest airport.

When it comes to the name, Forth is inspired by Scotland's Firth of Forth, while Main is a nod to the classic American Main Street.

Occupying the former BrewDog site, Forth & Main is open from breakfast through to the last flight of the day.

"After a fantastic run with BrewDog, we saw an opportunity to create something completely new," says Jonathan Knight, CEO of TRGC. "Forth & Main is our take on the classic diner – inspired by Edinburgh, full of character and where vintage Americana meets modern Scotland.

"We wanted to build a place people would remember, not just somewhere to grab a quick bite before their flight. From the food and drinks to the interiors and artwork, every detail has been carefully considered to give the space its own personality. We can't wait to welcome passengers through the doors and share Forth & Main with them."
