Sticks’n’Sushi revenue tops £100m

Revenue at SticksʹnʹSushi, the Danish-Japanese restaurant group, has exceeded £100m for the first time, as the business announces its financial results for the 12-month period ending 31 December 2025.

Revenue for the period came in at £104.8m, while adjusted EBITDA was £8.2m. During the period, the business also opened its first restaurant in Scotland.

The increase in revenue represents a 6% growth over the previous 12 months. The year was capped off by an all-time record day for the company on New Year’s Eve, as it exceeded £1m for the first time.

In the UK, the standout performance came from its B2B and catering arm, which finished +21% ahead of the prior year. In both Denmark and Germany, all three channels of dine-in, delivery/takeaway and catering were in growth over the prior year.

"2025 was a year of real progress for Sticks'n'Sushi, consolidating our performance in the existing estate and achieving meaningful steps forward in our strategic plan," says Andreas Karlsson, CEO of SticksʹnʹSushi. "Crossing the £100m revenue threshold for the first time is a notable landmark, and the breadth of growth across our markets and channels gives us confidence in the strength of our proposition.

"The opening in Glasgow marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we continue to grow our footprint in the UK and the response in Glasgow and Manchester to our restaurants has been highly encouraging. Success across all geographies and channels, while opening new restaurants, is never taken for granted. It is only possible thanks to the passion and commitment of our 1,400 team members across Denmark, Germany and the UK working collaboratively as one to deliver across all fronts."

This year, the business has announced the opening of its first restaurant in Prague via its first joint venture partnership, as well as the next two cities in its UK expansion being Birmingham and Leeds in the coming months.
