Permanently Unique Group secures £25m

Permanently Unique Group (PUG), the restaurant business behind the Tattu, Fenix and Louis brands, has agreed a £25m revolving credit facility from NatWest.

The funding deal has been put in place to accelerate its UK and international expansion. It has an additional £5m option that can be activated as further growth opportunities arise.

The new facility will support the opening of a Tattu at Canary Wharf later this year and further expansion, including two new Louis sites in Mayfair and Dubai planned for 2027. The group says it is also exploring additional locations in the Middle East, as well as potential ventures in Ireland and the USA.

Founded in 2015 by brothers Adam and Drew Jones, the group has grown from its first modern Asian restaurant in Spinningfields to a portfolio of nine premium sites. PUG now employs over 750 people and expects to generate approximately £50m of revenue in 2026, rising to more than £70m by the end of 2027 as further restaurants open.

"We're now in a position to accelerate growth across all three brands," says Adam. "Fenix opened in Mayfair in March, Tattu comes to Canary Wharf later this year, and Louis expands into Dubai and Mayfair in 2027."
