Zizzi to give away nearly 4,000 lasagnes

To celebrate National Lasagne Day (29 July), Zizzi is giving away 30 free lasagnes at each of its 133 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.

In total, the Azzurri Group brand is giving away a total of 3,990 free lasagnes across its estate, with the first 30 guests through the door at midday receiving a complimentary lasagne, while everyone else can enjoy 50% off the dish for the rest of the day.

"This National Lasagne Day, we’re sharing the love and the lasagne at every Zizzi restaurant," says Corinne Prior, brand and customer experience director at Zizzi. "A whole day dedicated to one of the world’s favourite foods is right up our street, and if you’re the same, we’ll see you on 29 July for the celebrations."

Zizzi’s 'Six Layer Lasagne' is made with sheets of egg pasta, beef ragu, bechamel, breadcrumbs and Riserva cheese. Its 'All Out Lasagne' elevates the dish even further with even more beef ragu, mozzarella and bechamel.

The Vegan Rainbow Lasagne features butternut squash, beetroot, red onion, spinach, slow-roasted tomato sauce, Genovese pesto, kale and breadcrumbs.
