Franco Manca partners with Wildflowers
This summer, Franco Manca will launch Summer in Bloom, a limited-edition pizza created with Aaron Potter, chef patron of Wildflowers in Belgravia.
Available from 22 July until the end of August for £14.50, the pizza will be served across Franco Manca restaurants in England and Wales, as well as via click and collect and delivery.
Potter, who says he is a longtime regular of Franco Manca, has created a pizza that is topped with peach, gorgonzola, crispy coppa and truffle honey, with a truffle honey and gorgonzola dip also available for crusts.
“I’ve always admired what Franco Manca does, and have lovely memories of the original pizzeria in Brixton," he says. "It’s been great to create my own pizza for them, and I wanted it to feel connected to what we do at Wildflowers. This one takes inspiration from a summer dish on our menu, with Sugar Pit Iberico Pork with Grilled Yellow Peaches.”
Potter opened his first solo restaurant Wildflowers in 2024 after a career in Michelin-starred kitchens across London, New York and Sydney, including Trinity in Clapham and Elystan Street in Chelsea.
Opened with interior stylist Laura Hart, Wildflowers is a neighbourhood restaurant in Newson’s Yard inspired by the relaxed dining cultures of the Mediterranean, with Bar Flor, a wine bar, upstairs.
To mark the launch of the pizza, a limited number of Aaron Potter x Franco Manca wildflower seed packets will be given away to the first guests ordering the it at each restaurant.
