Pink sriracha and £5 menus at Pho

Vietnamese street food restaurant group Pho has introduced what it says is the world’s first pink sriracha.

The marketing activation around the pink product has been launched alongside the offer of a £5 menu to anyone who wears pink to Pho on Wednesdays in August. 

Made from white Thai chillies grown exclusively in northern Thailand, the pink sriracha gets its colour from the hibiscus flower, which also gives the sauce an fruity note before finishing with a spicy heat. 

What about the £5 feast?

For the month of August, Pho is launching Pink Wednesdays. Anyone who dines at a Pho restaurant during the month wearing pink can order from the £5 Pink Wednedays menu.

The menu items include a £5 Spicy Pink Margarita, £5 Crispy Spring Rolls, £5 Summer Rolls, £5 Crispy Chicken Wings, £5 Ice cream and £5 Sorbet. - £5 - Slow churned sorbetto from Hackney Gelato in either raspberry, mango, coconut or dark chocolate.  

"Not only does the new SABZU Pink Sriracha look amazing, it is delicious and so fun for summer," says Libby Andrews, marketing director at Pho. "We are really excited to be the only place in the UK to serve it for the month of August.”

Part of the Arcturus Group, Pho has over 50 restaurants across the UK.
