Late-night burgers to join Roast menu
Borough Market restaurant Roast is introducing a late-night burger menu from 19 March.
The four-strong menu will be served from 8:30pm until late, Monday to Saturday, with guests receiving a free burger if they order two sides and a drink.
Guests will have the choice of four different fillings, three meaty versions served in brioche buns and one vegan option, sandwiched between a charcoal bun.
The traditional No.1 is an 8oz British beef patty, cheese fondue, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onion, and pink sauce.
Roast’s version of the classic chicken burger is No.2: half buttermilk-fried chicken, cheddar cheese, grilled pineapple, lettuce and lime pepper mayonnaise.
No.3 is a breaded pork chop, with shredded barbecue pork shoulder, grilled pineapple and pickled red cabbage.
Lastly No.4 is the vegan offering on the menu, a black bean and sweet potato patty, with ‘sheese’, love heart tomato and pickled red cabbage.
Each meaty burger is priced at £9.50, with the vegan option £9.
