Nando's to open new site in Brighton

Nando’s is preparing to launch its brand-new London Road, Brighton, restaurant on Monday (12 June).

This branch will be the group's fourth location in Brighton, offering 115 covers, along with a click-and-collect and delivery service.

The launch has created 30 jobs for people in the local community, including a few internal transfers. Working with local charities, The Crew Club and The Spear Programme part of Resurgo, both members of Nando’s ‘No Chuckin’ Our Chicken’ food donation initiative, almost half the team have been recruited through employability programmes. The restaurant has also just been recognised as a Disability Confident Committed Employer (Level 1) – a government-backed scheme focusing on how employers can be more inclusive.

Restaurant manager, Matthew Larham, says: "We’re looking forward to opening the doors and can’t wait to bring Nando’s famous flame-grilled peri-peri flavours to another corner of Brighton. It’s been amazing working with The Crew Club and Spear and being able to build our team and support the local community is a double winner. We’ve got lots more planned in the coming weeks and months, pop in to find out more!"
