Fridays appoints people and culture director

American-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar chain TGI Fridays has announced the appointment of Steph Williams as its new people and culture director, effective immediately. 

Williams joins the executive team with a wealth of experience in human resources and people development. In her previous role as head of HR for B&M Retail, she was responsible for delivering the brand's People Strategy to a team of 36,000 across UK retail stores and distribution centres. 

Williams says of her new role: "I'm delighted to be joining TGI Fridays at what is such an exciting time for the business. I look forward to setting out our strategy for further growing, developing and engaging talent within the business, to make TGI Fridays the very best place to work. Together we can ensure that TGI Fridays continues to be not only a fun place for our guests, but for our dedicated team members too."
