CCEP supports sector reopening

Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) is building on its £20m support package designed to help hospitality businesses reopen, which includes post-mix restart guidance, free stock, enhanced promotional offers and a business accelerator programme.

It’s been a tough year for the hospitality sector and we’re delighted to be helping our customers reopen and get the most from the summer trading period," says Paul Robertson, head of on-premise at CCEP GB.

"Pubs, bars and restaurants have long been an integral part to our business and we remain committed to supporting the sector to return to its former glory, pre-pandemic.

“We received a lot of positive feedback following last year’s support and we will once again be assisting with a Free Bag in Box scheme for our customers, guidance on sanitisation of post-mix equipment, an enhanced wholesale promotional plan across our core range and some great summer activation plans on our Schweppes brand and across Coca-Cola.

“It’s great to see that many venues have managed to reopen in their garden spaces already, but we very much look forward to the day all pubs, bars and restaurants can fully open their doors.”

Earlier this year CCEP introduced a new initiative called Project Open, a business accelerator programme run in partnership with CCEP, Coca-Cola Great Britain, Costa Coffee and Innocent, with senior executives offering insights and advice to help small independent businesses in the hospitality sector recover faster from the pandemic and thrive in the future. Participating businesses will also receive advice on engaging customers from Influence at Work, experts in behavioural science.
