Madhu's Brasserie coming to Richmond

Traditional all-day dining Indian restaurant Madhu's Brasserie will open in Richmond-upon-Thames this March, closely following the brand's successful launch on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols in November.

The new Madhu's will occupy a red brick, floor-to-ceiling glass windowed corner site on Sheen Road. The menu will offer new interpretations of authentic Indian dishes passed down through generations – including a dedicated menu of signature toasted wraps, served warm in a soft roomali roti or tandoori naan, with fillings such as chilli chicken, marinated paneer and minced lamb.

For starters, guests will be able to choose from classic snacks such as palak patta chaat made with British samphire and crispy baby spinach, alongside a trio of toasted wraps and a selection of freshly grilled robata dishes including chilli paneer, butterfly king prawns and spiced lamb chops.

Mains will include masala fish and chicken biryani, as well as signatures such as Masaledar Kuku – Madhu's trademark chicken thighs – and makhani dhal.

Guests seeking a more theatrical experience will be able to sit near the counter area, overlooking the tandoor oven and robata grill.

Tony Lit, director of Madhu's Brasserie and Gourmet Associates Limited, comments: "Following on from a successful launch last year, Madhu's Brasserie is excited to expand southwards and share our passion for authentic Indian food with the vibrant Richmond community. Supported by our strategic partner Madhu's, our brand new restaurant will bring years of history and culinary creativity to the area."
