Strip Steak Bar heading to Gloucester Food Dock

Gloucester Food Dock, a new £3.5m waterfront dining destination in the historic city of Gloucester, has released the names of its first confirmed food and drinks businesses – including fast service concept Strip Steak Bar. 

Serving premium quality certified black Angus strip loin, the venue's signature dishes will include premium sirloin steak with beef dripping fries and a strip steak wrap with crispy onions and cheddar sauce, as well as a non-meat option featuring chef and co-founder Arthur Knights' special vegan steak. 

"Taking Strip to Gloucester Food Dock was an obvious decision for us as it's a premium site in an exciting city – it sits with our brand ethos perfectly. We're very excited to be part of it," says co-founder Ross Sanders. 

Also confirmed to launch at the venue is the family-run Wholly Gelato, serving award-winning Italian-style gelato; and cocktail and champagne bar Sibling Distillery. 

Gloucester Food Dock, which overlooks Victoria Basin at the bottom of Southgate Street, will house up to 15 artisan food and drink businesses drawn from Gloucestershire and the surrounding region. 

Food Dock co-founder Sarah Mansfield comments: "We're really thrilled to introduce these three very different food concepts which are excellent examples of the type of creative businesses we're looking for, and which totally encapsulate the ethos of Gloucester Food Dock."
