Fridays launches Jubilee cocktail

Fridays, part of newly listed Hostmore plc, has announced a brand new limited edition cocktail in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. 

As preparations get underway for a long weekend of celebrations, Fridays is commemorating the occasion by launching The Earl Grey Queen-Tini.

The cocktail, which has been developed by Fridays’ team of expert bartenders, will be exclusively available in all restaurants throughout the Jubilee bank holiday weekend.

Inspired by the Queen’s fondness for a cup of Earl Grey tea, the cocktail delivers sweet and zesty lemon flavours and features gin, syrup and a dash of Earl Grey tea. It is topped with a lemon peel crown.

"Fridays has always been a place for celebration," says Brendan Quinn, head of beverage at Fridays. "Our famous and iconic cocktails have been a core feature of that Fridays Feeling and experience right from day one in 1965 New York. So it’s only right that we launch this limited edition cocktail for the biggest celebration of them all: the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

“We wanted to create something that included some of the Queen’s favourite flavours, but that also had that Fridays’ flair our guests have come to expect and love. With lemon and Earl Grey tea being a classic pair, we couldn’t resist putting them together.

The Earl Grey Queen-tini will be available in all Fridays restaurants from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June 2022.
