Operators can reach more customers through free hub

Restaurants are able to claim a free listing on community hub app and website Grapevine Local, in order to reach their local customer base with promotions and other services.

Devon and Cornwall are the first counties to receive dedicated promotional resource to launch the initiative, but operators around the country will be soon also be able to claim their free listing as it is rolled out nationwide.

Hospitality businesses can use the platform to promote special offers; give customers online access to reservations, menus and order-at-table functions; promote job vacancies; publicise events and opening hours; operate a pay-at-table function; listing last-minute availability and create a contact-free library for information resources.

“Community has never been more important, more relevant and more life-affirming than right now” says Grapevine Local's founder Alan Greaney.

“It is into this environment that we’re so excited about the launch of Grapevine Local, a project that has been two years in the making. We want to help hospitality businesses celebrate all they are doing to make a difference and use their role in the community, that has become magnified during the pandemic, to improve the lives of those around them whilst also strengthening their business.”
