Team behind Nest to open Fenn in Fulham this spring

Luke Wasserman, Toby Neill and Johnnie Crowe, the team behind Hackney restaurant Nest, are set to launch Fenn, a seasonal British restaurant on Fulham's Wandsworth Bridge Road, in March.

Executive head chef Crowe and head chef Joe Laker, formerly of Anglo, have created an opening a la carte menu and chef’s set menu which features dishes such as Lincolnshire Poacher cheese and truffle dumplings; hand-dived Scottish scallop with chicken butter sauce; aged Yorkshire beef, parsnip and pickled walnut and English custard tart.

Front of House will be overseen by Harry Cooper whom alongside founder Wasserman has hand-selected a range of sustainably produced wines and seasonal cocktails to complement the menu.

“I’m looking forward to opening the doors to Fenn and bringing a taste of what we do at Nest to west London," says Neill. "It’s been a tough few months but we’re excited to finally be opening the doors and getting back to what we do best."

"We’ve worked so hard to create great relationships with farmers and local producers over the past four years and I can’t wait for Fenn to open to be able showcase it," adds Crowe.

The main dining room is centred around a single hand carved ash wood table which seats up to eight guests with additional tables surrounding it.

The frontage of the restaurant features folding French windows, which flood the space with natural light, acting to balance the earthy tones found throughout the room.

A private dining space is located in the wine cellar, and seats up to 16 guests who can order an exclusive feasting menu.

Fenn takes its name from the old English word for ‘low-lying wetland’, and highlights the restaurant's focus on serving locally sourced, British seasonal dishes.
