Happy Face Pizza opens in Victoria

Happy Face Pizza have opened in Victoria, with the brand bringing its signature pizzas to Eccleston Yards in its second central London venue.

To celebrate the launch, the company is offering 50% off pizzas until 31 January, with the new site open seven days a week for both bookings and walk-ins.

The menu at Happy Face centres on authentic Neapolitan pizza, known for its light, puffy dough and punchy flavours. Devised by executive chef Mario Mastrangelo, the pies use a 72-hour fermented dough to create a fluffier crust.

Options include a classic Margherita and Funghi with tomato, mushrooms, mozzarella, taleggio and artichoke; the Rucola with mozzarella, rocket, prosciutto crudo and parmesan; as well as the Vegan Pepperoni. The brand also offers gluten-free bases and 'Extra Happiness' toppings that allow customers to customise their choice.

Pizzas can be paired with a selection of classic Italian antipasti including cured meats, zucchini fritti and burratina, alongside gelato and dolci – such as the iconic Italian dessert dish Tiramisu.

The bar offers a selection of Italian wines, beers and cocktails, including three variations of the beloved Negroni, from a Classico to a Low-groni with lillet, peach and bitters.

The 50-cover restaurant takes inspiration from the original King's Cross site, with its pop art-style décor contrasting with exposed brickwork, high-top tables and an open kitchen with a Neapolitan style Scugnizzonapoletano oven.
