Rosa's Thai launch chef-led training programme

Restaurant group Rosa's Thai has announced the launch of Wok School, a new chef-led training programme in central London.

The group's new recruitment initiative is designed to inspire chefs and instil them with the skills required to pursue a career in the kitchen at Rosa's. Classes will be taught by the group's most prominent 'wok masters'. 

Open to people of all skill levels, Wok School will give successful candiates the expertise needed to thrive in hospitality, with a guaranteed full-time chef role at Rosa's offered to each applicant upon successful completion of the course.

Programmes can be completed over either three, five or 10 days, based on trainees' existing experience. All applicants will be paif £11.45 per hour (inc. service charge) for the duration of the course.

The school is located on the lower ground floor of Rosa's Thai's Warren Street branch, welcoming guests with a reduced menu of the brand's signature dishes at a discounted price, giving candidates real-life experience of a career at Rosa's Thai. Dishes will include Rosa's classic Pad Thai, Red Thai Curry and chilli and basil stir fry.

On the launch of the programme, Gillian Lambden, the group's people director, comments: "Rosa's is dedicated to providing the best training and development to our teams to empower them to earn as they learn. We are extremely excited about the launch of the Rosa's Wok School as it provides opportunities for promotion for internal team members, as well as our new recruits."
