Simon Rogan's Aulis to reopen with new look

Aulis London, Simon Rogan’s chef’s table in Soho, will reopen in May with a brand-new look, including additional seating and its very own lounge.

Set to double in size, the restaurant in St Anne’s Court will seat 12 guests per night (an increase from its original eight) while the adjoining lounge will provide diners with a relaxed space for drinks before or after dinner.

Designed by Blacksheep, interiors will bring a newfound homely feel to the central London chef’s table while reflecting Rogan’s ethos, which stems from the natural environment and the Lake District landscape – home of his three Michelin-starred restaurant L’Enclume and original Aulis chef’s table that seats six.

Headed up by executive chef Oli Marlow and head chef Charlie Tayler, Aulis London opened in 2017, offering front-row views of the chefs cooking up a multi-course tasting menu, using ingredients predominantly sourced from Simon’s very own Lake District farm ‘Our Farm.’

As the focal point of the experience, Aulis’ newly installed natural stone countertop spans the main dining space, whilst a softly illuminated wine store display highlights the unique selection curated by sommelier Charles Carron-Brown.

As the Simon Rogan Group embarks on its third decade, Aulis’ remodelled interiors and extended floor space will enable Rogan and his team to hold ad-hoc special events throughout the year, including one-off collaborations, events and tastings and supplier dinners.
