New executive chef joins Voco St David's
Cardiff-based hotel and spa Voco St David's, part of the IHG group, has announced the appointment of Joseph Procak as its new executive chef.
Procak will lead the culinary team at the hotel's Tir a Môr restaurant. The Welsh native has worked as a professional chef since he was 18 years old and has over 30 years of experience under his belt.
The chef joins Voco St David's from The Old Custom House in Penarth. Known for his inventive and seasonal dishes, Procak hopes to create a memorable food and drink experience in Cardiff Bay and Wales.
Procak says of his role: "I'm really excited to join, and lead, the culinary team at the iconic Voco St David's, Cardiff. The Welsh capital has a vibrant food scene, and Tir a Môr has become a real part of it, thanks to significant investment. It's a go-to foodie hotspot in the city, and I'm looking forward to developing a memorable and exciting dining experience for guests to enjoy – something which really puts us on the wider food map."
