New luxury restaurant coming to Leeds

Blue Pavilion, a premium Chinese restaurant from the owner of Blue Sakura, has announced 30 October as its official opening date.

Following months of preparation, Blue Pavilion will launch in the heart of Leeds, building on the success of the Japanese dining experience offered at its sister restaurant Blue Sakura.

Located within the Merrion Centre, the £3m Blue Pavilion venue will offer a diverse menu that combines centuries-old traditions with modern creativity and exquisite presentation. Offering both set menus and an à la carte offer, diners can experience the rich flavours, textures and aromas that reflect the regional cuisines of Asia.

The drinks menu will include a range of fine wines, including Chateau Haut-Brion Pessac-Leognan 1996, premium cocktails such as Jiuzhaigou Hu, made with Roku, aperitif wine, Blue Curacao, lemon and bitters. Exclusive spirits, such as The Macallan Sherry Oak (25-year-old), will also be available.

The restaurant will have three private dining rooms that can accommodate eight to 11 guests. Not only this, but the site will also have an adjoining karaoke venue, K-CUBE. The largest of the private dining spaces will have its own private karaoke room.

Chiu Tong Huang, director of Blue Pavilion, comments: "Our team has worked tirelessly to create a truly unique dining and entertainment experience that showcases the rich flavours of Chinese cuisine and the joy of karaoke."
