Top chefs to collaborate on one-night-only dinner
A restaurant in Shoreditch has announced its latest collaboration between two revered UK chefs.
Following the success of its recent four-hands dinner, BiBo, which sits within the Mondrian Shoreditch, has announced a one-night-only dinner between Dani García (pictured right), chef-patron of the Michelin-starred BiBo, and Buenos Aires native Fernando Trocca (pictured left), the mastermind behind Argentinian restaurant Sucre in Soho.
The dinner will form part of the restaurant's ongoing Chef's Series, which recently saw García pair up with José Pizarro, to celebrate Spanish cuisine.
Taking place on 4 April with sittings from 5pm, the £100pp 10-dish menu will present five creations from each chef, comprising three tapas plates, plus a main and dessert each.
The menu
Tapas will include García's ceviche and oxtail brioche, while Trocca will serve dishes such as aged cheddar cheese and egg salad with katsuobushi served on sourdough.
The main event will feature García's sea bass with fennel sauce and mashed potato, alongside Trocca's Argentinian sirloin with chimichurri, confit peppers and asparagus.
To end the meal, diners will tuck into García's slow-roasted sliced pineapple with passionfruit and Trocca's dulce de leche fondant.
"I am incredibly excited to have had the opportunity to craft this special one-off menu alongside Fernando," says García. "We wanted to celebrate the fusion of our culinary heritage and diverse cooking techniques, marrying the vibrant flavours of Andalusia and the rich traditions of Argentina."
