Graham Chatham promoted to chef-patron at Origin City

Pasture-to-plate and nose-to-tail restaurant concept Origin City has announced that its former executive chef, Graham Chatham, has been promoted to chef-patron.

Chatham has over 35 years of fine dining experience, working at well-known restaurants and hotels, including Rules and The Langham. He later became executive chef at Daylesford Organic, overseeing its London branches. Chatham has a passion for nurturing new talent in the industry and is an active member of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts

The chef has been with the restaurant since before its opening in August 2023, developing its ambitious supply chain concept and authentic nose-to-tail menus. Chatham will oversee both Origin City and its sister wine bar, 56 West Smithfield, with another opening in the pipeline before the end of the year.

"Having been at Origin City since the very beginning, I am thrilled to be leading the restaurant into this new stage, as we enter our second year of trading," says the chef.

"I am very proud of how far we have come with both the restaurant and our sister wine bar, 56 West Smithfield. There are some immensely exciting projects in the pipeline, which will only expand the scope of our truly authentic, nose-to-tail, pasture-to-plate offering."
