London Restaurant Festival announces Autumn line-up

London Restaurant Festival (LRF) returns with its Autumn programme of events throughout October. From chef-hosted tasting menus to masterclasses, restaurant-hopping tours and more, the festival celebrates the city's gastronomic talent at both up-and-coming and well-established restaurants. 

The festival, in partnership with American Express, begins on Friday, 27 September and ends on Thursday, 31 October. it kicks off with 'Food Fest', a one-night-only street food extravaganza. The Autumn edition of Food Fest will be held at Arcade Tottenham Court Road, with £16 tickets including a welcome cocktail, a dish from a choice of Arcade's nine food vendors, a treat from Millie's Cookies and a live DJ set all night. 

Food Fest is swiftly followed by a stellar line-up of restaurant events. 'Top Ten Cuisines' brings a series of evenings hosted by best-in-their-field chefs. Guests can visit Marylebone Village for Mexican cuisine at Cavita with Adriana Cavita and Eastern Mediterranean delicacies at Delamina with Limor Chen, or chef Tony Truong's new residency at the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars, Chinese Cricket Club. The experiences include a welcome glass of wine and a bespoke four-course menu hosted by the chefs themselves. 

The 'Restaurant-Hopping Tours' will also make a return, taking guests on a culinary jaunt across destinations such as Bond Street, Oxford Street, Marylebone Village and Portman Marylebone, visiting four Asian restaurants in one evening, including Chourangi, Roti Chai, The Malt and Zayna. 

'Festival Highlights' combines a selection of one-off experiences, including 'London's Ultimate Afternoon', visiting foodie destinations across Bond Street and Oxford Street, including cocktails at The Punch Room and a trip to the immersive art experience, Frameless on Marble Arch. 

Guests can also enjoy 'The Spice Route', in which a selection of the city's most prolific Pan-Asian restaurants, such as Lahpet Larder and Toba in St James's Market, host special evening events. 

'An Indian Summer' will celebrate the calibre of Indian restaurants in both Regent Street and St James's, with a dinner at the oldest restaurant in London, Veeraswamy, and a chance to try the latest opening from JKS, the Ambassador Clubhouse on Heddon Street. 

'Festival Menus' will return throughout October, with over 100 restaurants across the capital offering limited-edition menus, created exclusively for LRF. This Autumn's Festival Menus showcase special offers categorised by both price range and occasion, from light bites to Michelin-star dinners and everything in between.
